"As a student who completed an Industrial Internship term programming at BioWare, and who was able to transition this experience into a career with BioWare in game design, I'd like to offer my "stamp of approval" to CMPUT 350. This course lays out a strong foundation in C++, the language ubiquitous in games programming, and explains the AI algorithms that are the backbone of many games. Every day at my job I find myself using skills learned in CMPUT 350 - in fact, my interview for my current career was nearly equivalent to the course's final exam! From my four years of computing science education experience, Advanced Game Programming is the course I'd recommend most strongly to computing science undergrads hoping to enter into the games industry."
